From Our Principal
Dear SEAS Parents,
We are looking forward to the annual SEAS Mardi Gras parade this Friday at 1:30! This tradition started 30 years ago with the Kindergarten children pulling shoe box floats around the playground. Then PK 4 joined the Krewe a few years later. Over the years it has grown into quite an extravaganza, with elaborately decorated wagons that would make Blaine Kern envious! The parade will be led by the SEAS Pep Squad, followed by yours truly, "Princessipal Kathmann," and our king, Fr. Bryan. Fr. Bryan has graciously agreed to stand in for Fr. David who will be officiating at his nephew's wedding that evening.
PK 4 will have a train theme this year with "All Aboard with PK 4!" Our Kindergarteners share their love of literature with their theme, "Our Favorite Books and Stories!" The parade route begins in the bus loop, towards the Early Childhood Center, around the front parking lot, and back to the loop! The whole school comes out to cheer on the children and catch some throws! We hope you will too! Let the Good Times Roll!
Good luck to our girls' basketball team as they move on in the playoffs! Their next game is Wednesday at St. Joan of Arc. Go Eagles!
There will be no school next week for Mardi Gras! We will see everyone back on Monday, March 10! Have a Happy and Safe Mardi Gras!
Our Purpose & Mission
Our purpose at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is to enable children to grow in their understanding of themselves, their relationship with God, and their relationship with others; to acquire knowledge, and to develop the skills necessary for success in higher educational pursuits and throughout their adult life.
The mission of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School is to educate children in a Christ-centered environment where each child can achieve his/her fullest potential, become a lifelong learner, value service to God and the community, and work cooperatively and independently while serving others.
In keeping with our school motto, “Our eyes are fixed on the Lord,” SEAS is committed to providing spiritual and emotional guidance, personal growth, and a rigorous academic curriculum, all within a Catholic faith community.
